The fact that with ultrasound special
preparations and substances can be sluiced into the body (sonophoresis) is
an additional benefit not to be missed.
Lifting - Firming
- Toning
Immediate results and long-term effects ensure
measurable success and turnover. Ultrasound is a term which is directly
associated with modern lifestyle. Ultralight, ultrawhite and ultraslim
are all up-to-date trends. Sono-Styler from WEYERGANS High-Care does not
only introduce a new term into salons with ultrasound but above all an
innovative treatment of the figure. The results are equally convincing
for the cosmetician and the customer. We are absolutely sure of that -
and that is more than just an ultracool promise. Sono-Styler combines
slimming treatment, skin firming and toning. It can be used for optimal
treatment even of problem cases which have so far seemed hopeless.
Stubborn cellulite undergoes a clearly visible and noticeable
improvement after the very first sessions. Spectacular results can be
achieved - in combination with a change of habits. With Sono-Styler you
as a cosmetician provide complete satisfaction for your customers.
Because what you achieve with ultrasound can be objectively measured and
calculated - in terms of turnover, too.

What
actually is ultrasound?
Ultrasound is those sound waves which are no longer audible to the human
ear. These sound waves are in the area of over 20,000 vibrations per
second (Hz).The ultrasound is produced by a treatment appliance. |
Such appliances have been used very successfully for many years in the
field of medicine for diagnosis and as therapy.
What is the effect
of ultrasound?
-
Ultrasound
treatments have the following effects:
-
Thermal through absorption
(feeling of heat)
-
Mechanical as micromassage
(vibration)
Biological through physiochemical
processes:
-
Vessel dilation (increased oxygen supply to
the cells)
-
Hyperaemia (blood circulation is improved)
-
Improvement of membrane
permeability
-
Improvement of lymph flow rate
-
Change of the tissue PH in the alkaline
direction
-
Detonisation of tense muscles
-
Pain relief
-
Reduction of inflammation
In order for ultrasound to be transferred into the
skin there should be no air between the sonic head and the skin. So a
contact gel is applied. In the medical field, especially sport medicine,
ultrasound treatment has also been used for many years as a means of
introducing pharmaceutics contained in the gel into the skin. That is an
additional effect of ultrasound; this process is called
"sonophoresis". The treatment itself depends on the following
factors: 1. Intensity (Watt per cm²) 2. Length of treatment 3.
Frequency of generator (continuous or pulsed sonic wave)
Ultrasound in
cosmetics ?
For use in cosmetics the following effect is
particularly interesting: through the acoustic irradiation of the skin
the metabolism is activated; waste products are removed more
effectively. As waste products extract moisture from the skin, after
each treatment the skin cells can absorb and store more moisture again.
Tone is improved, skin texture looks younger. So excellent results can
be obtained in regeneration treatment of the face, bust and whole body.
The skin becomes smoother and firmer. The good result of treatment can
even be further increased by the use of special care gels whose
substances are penetrated into the tissue.
In addition the skin
condition is normalised in the case of greasy tissue. The flushing out
of waste products also makes ultrasound treatment a modern method of
dealing with cellulite. In contrast to numerous other treatments profit
can be made of the deep thermal effect which causes an increase in fat
metabolism. The simultaneous deep massage (micromassage) also achieves
optimal results where there is a combination of cellulite with jodhpur
thigh syndrome.
The areas of use
in cosmetics are:
-
Cellulite, jodhpur thighs, slack tissue
-
Increase of metabolism and local fat
combustion in the case of adipositas in any area (also
flab/stomach)
-
Improvement of the appearance of the skin
through specific supply and purification of tissue; e.g wrinkles
or treatment of striae
-
Infiltration of preparations (ampoules,
mistletoe concentrate)
-
Relaxation of tense muscles
-
Normalisation of the skin condition in the
case of greasy skin.
